Quali - 1st : 1:07:03
I was happy with my quali set-up, only did the one flying lap, then pitted to save tyres.
Race - 1st
Made a lot of changes to my set-up before the race to try to create a more tyre friendly set-up. I`m not sure what I changed but it REALLY didnt work. The car was handling like a bag of spanners all race

But, this made for a bloody great race!!
Started off with a close battle with Mojo for the first 7/8 laps. I managed to pull out a 3.5 second lead before the first round of stops, so turned my fuel down a bit. But, the undercut worked a treat for him, as when I pitted and came out, he was only 1 second behind. The DRS on this track is overwhelming, if someone gets DRS here, they close to fast its unreal. Mojo did just that and closed up...but then I dont know what happened, he span. There may have been contact but I didnt notice anything?
Anyways, that gave me some breathing space until my second stop. I pitted, came out, and within seconds there was the damn SC. Not what I wanted to see.
The final half of the way race was just a great fight with Sheepy! We just kept swapping places on the DRS section every lap. It was impossible to pull away due to the DRS zone being so over-affective. Unfortunaltely, about 5 laps from the end, Sheepy tried an overtake going into turn 1, he was wide and I took a tighter line. I saw the front of his car and he was very sideways and sliding. He then made contact with me and this put me into a spin and into the wall.
I spun the car around and set off again, but Sheepy had pulled over to wait..to let me past.
I have to say this was a fantastic bit of sportsmanship, thankyou Sheepy I dont think the coming together was on purpose, it was simply due to your car sliding out of control. I wouldnt have complained if you had carried on to a deserved win. But thanks all the same.
This let Chissel close on both of us though, and for the final 4 laps it was a 3-way fight for the lead. 3 laps from the end I was 3rd and got a good run out of the final corner, I deployed the DRS and my remaining KERS and managed a crazy double overtake up the inside of the main straight. Thankfully both the guys did not do any stupid swerves or lunges, and everyone survived.
It was a very well driven fight, everyone gave room where needed and backed out when things got a bit hairy. Just the way it should be.
I managed to get a good final lap together and pulled out a slight lead. Which allowed me to get the win, even though I ran out of fuel on the home straight lol.
Great race, very enjoyable! Well done everyone.
